Every bit I mentioned, I have been unable to login on many different computers and many different browsers. I tried the get-go two things yous mentioned anyway, and it made no difference. For the last suggestion - connecting with HTTPS - where is "other options" located?

To connect using HTTPS, follow the steps below:

i. https://account.live.com/ManageSSL
2.     Select Ever use HTTPS when I sign in to Hotmail then Salvage

Note: If you are already connected to HTTPS, try to disconnect past selecting Do not use HTTPS when I sign in to Hotmail then Save

Transmission - "Afterward logging into Hotmail and navigating to your Inbox, change the URL in the address bar of your browser to https://. Y'all should only need to add the 's' onto the http and leave the balance of the URL as is. Press Enter to follow the updated URL."

I changed my account to always employ HTTPS. I tin can still login to the account.live office, but not my e-mail. I checked and there are no server issues. I am nevertheless receiving the same error message when I try to login to my email.

So I finally got this working. They plain changed all outlook e-mails from uw.edu to myuw.net. To get this working, become to MyUw, under Due east-postal service printing "Modify Email forwarding". Go to "UW Windows Live", prepare your password. Now you can access you email through this site: http://www.outlook.com/myuw.net. You should be able to log-in and you lot should non have lost whatever e-mails. (Exist sure to log in with ***@myuw.internet)

UWIT really screwed upwards by not telling everyone before the change. And now they tin't because they tin can't e-mail them!

I suggest spreading the word if this works for you, equally it is rather of import for students.
